If you remember, we were able to discuss the survival basics. Furthermore, that discussion took us to the acronym, SURVIVAL. Each letter representing a crucial element in survival. Today, we’re going to take a look at what the letter A of the acronym, SURVIVAL, means – Act like the Natives: Survival Basics.

You can take notice of the natives and animals who casually adapt to the environment of the region you are in.

This is to be done to take advantage of the benefits from so. Try to observe the routines and behaviors of such people and animals. You could learn a lot of valuable information. Moreover that, this can range from where they eat, get food, get water, and when and where they rest. Some of these actions can anticipate captures or dangers and potentially save your life.

The animal life in the area can also give you some information on how you are to survive. Observing them could lead you to the food, water, and shelter spots they need and visit. Though always be mindful of the harms these animals can live past. Some food and water that they can consume, you might not be able to do the same.

Also, keep in mind that the reaction and behavior of animals can probably reveal you to the enemy.

When one is in a friendly area, you may gather rapport with the locals by showing interest in what they do and use. Studying them could teach you more on how to respect them. How you can make friends out of them.

If they can adapt to their environment, why not do what they do to thrive or survive like them?
